The first time I ever drew got me into trouble – I was 4 yrs old and decided to make the living room wall my canvas! Small handprints in bright colors, lines of crayons and markers everywhere! Mom wasn't too happy! But I guess I've come quite a long way from that!
Art has always been my passion and working in the arts has only reinforced this interest. Whether reading art history or creating my masterpieces at home, I'm definitely an artist at heart!
Growing up in the UAE, I get my inspirations from the magnitude of different cultures I see everyday. I love going to the Creek side, reminds me of old Dubai. I adore the Souks, the spice markets, the birds, the boats, all of that inspires me tremendously. I keep experimenting with different mediums hoping to translate my cultural appreciation though art.
