Karla Cantalejo

The world is a giant, kaleidoscopic thing in the eyes of Karla Cantalejo. Every detail a fascination, every color a delicacy... every thing just waiting to be studied and turned into something else. Obscurity, bright colors, kooky music, caffeinated conversations and all things cute define what Karla is. Born in Philippines but raised all over, her birth-given careful attitude has been permanently honed to better levels studying graphic design at American University in Dubai. Ever since Karla's discovery of the design world, nothing has been the same. She sees typography in everyday conversation, draws imaginary grids in passing posters and has started writing freakishly straight. But at the same time longs for paint in all typography, pastel in all posters and drawings in all writing. Karla has nestled comfortably between design and manual art, fighting the urge to give in completely to either side. It has been her mission to find the perfect balance between the two: perfection and imperfection. But there's only so much a tiny girl can do. One small, short step at a time...
