Hazem Mahdy
Hazem Mahdy is an Egyptian photographer (born in 1986) and raised in the city of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He completed his Bachelors degree in Photography from the American University in Dubai in early 2009. Later he worked with a renowned gallery in Dubai called Carbon 12 where he gained even more experience as an artist and a professional in his field. Hazem is currently represented by Carbon 12 gallery as one of their emerging artists and is working as a fulltime artist.
He had a great opportunity of showing his works in some of the best galleries in Dubai such as Ayyam gallery, the Empty Quarter and an upcoming show on the 10th of June 2010 at Carbon 12 gallery. Hazem also had the chance of exhibiting his works in New York City in SVA (School of Visual Arts). Carbon 12 will be representing Hazem Mahdy in an International art fair in Vienna this summer in May 2010.
