Dalia Mattar

Hello there. My name is Dalia Mattar, and I like making pretty things.

I have mixed Arab roots, appreciate a cosmopolitan lifestyle, and have too many interests to count.

My areas of expertise include marketing, fashion, art & event direction, graphic design, and copywriting.

I hold a Bachelor of Design in Fashion Communications and Marketing from Ryerson University in Toronto. I have been freelancing as an Art Director, Event Producer and Graphic Designer for the last three years- and working with the likes of Toronto Fashion Week, M.A.C Cosmetics, and HELM Productions.

I believe that communication is the ability to grasp another's attention with something one has expressed. Effective communication, on the other hand, is the ability to not only grasp, but also influence another's thoughts - even for a second - while simultaneously leading them to formulate their own connection with what's been expressed.

My design philosophy is the latter.
