Born and raised in Jordan, Cima Azzam is a Palestinian artist with a BFA in visual arts from the American University in Dubai. Born in 1986, Azzam is an experimental artist based in Dubai and works with various media. She focuses her energies mainly on Painting, Sculpture and Photography. Her latest obsession is the human figure. Her recent work has included using found objects to interact with their environments using installations and photography, and sculptures expressing the human form. Cima Azzam is a member of the A106 collective. She has exhibited work in New York and Dubai and was part of the Sheikha Manal's young artist awards in 2009.
