Amritraj Gupta, Practicing Contemporary Artist (1980AD – unknown). Painter of mythological compositions, taboo subjects, little robots, vintage automobiles, stick figures, nudes, urban landscapes, nudes in urban landscapes, memoirs and writer of fluff.
His early passion for art began with the obsession to amass crayons of every color at play-school. His passion grew further as he found the hidden joy of drawing elaborate moustaches on the faces of world leaders in history textbooks. One summer, as one thing is said to lead to another, Amritraj found himself in design school where he harnessed the skill of making art and instant noodles.
In the years to follow he developed his skill as a commercial artist and animator of short films. During this period, he also gained extensive knowledge of writing about himself in the third person.
Currently, he works for a renowned advertising agency and spends most of his day trying to buy back his soul, which he sold to the devil in exchange for a convertible. He dreams of a day when all his problem will become yours and all your money will become his. Until that day, his only advice to you is 'remember to moisturize'
